• If ‘non-compliant’ has been selected for any of the document sub-categories, it is the Managers responsibility to work with the Employee to ensure the Employee creates an action plan to rectify any issues before the Employee can work remote. • Once the document has been filled out and the Employee is compliant, it is the Managers responsibility to provide the form to the HR department for filing. • Managers are mandated to have daily scrum meetings in the morning to help facilitate start of day daily wellness check-ins with Employees. • If an Employee is not attending the morning scrum, It is the Managers responsibility to provide written authorization to the Employee. • If the Employee has written authorization for not attending the morning scrum meeting, it is the Managers responsibility to work with the Employee to help identify another method for conducting the start of day wellness check-in. • It is the Managers responsibility to track that the Employee has provided and end of workday wellness check-in signoff via email or Teams. • If an Employee fails to report into the daily wellness check-in, please review the following sub-categories: o What to do if an employee cannot be contacted o Actions for emergency rescue What to do if an employee cannot be contacted: If an employee fails to report into your scheduled daily check-in, it is important for a manager not to make assumptions and jump to conclusions. The manager should do the following: • The manager should try to immediately get in touch with the employee and find out the reason why the employee is a no-show. • The manager should exhaust all avenues of communication, starting with a telephone call, email and teams chat asking the employee to contact the manager as soon as possible. • If the manager is not able to get in touch with the employee, the manager should try to contact the employee's next of kin or emergency contact. Action for Emergency Rescue If a determined emergency rescue of the employee is required, the manager should do the following: • Determine type and severity of emergency. • Contact appropriate emergency services as soon as possible. • Notify next of kin and or emergency contact. • Notify Stormtech Senior leadership and People & Culture department. Compliance with Stormtech Policies Employees working remotely must continue to follow our company’s policies like their office-based colleagues. Examples of policies that all employees should abide by are: • Business Compliance • Code of Ethics • Confidential information • Personal Information Protection • Hours of work • Technology Use
