ASSOCIATE REFERRAL PROGRAM

1. PURPOSE Stormtech recognizes that some of the best candidates are referred by the people that work here; as such, Stormtech encourages associates to actively participate in helping the Company identify the best candidates to join our team through the Associate Referral Program. 2. SCOPE All Stormtech Associates working in any location across Canada and international are eligible to participate with the exception of senior leaders, People & Culture leaders and recruiters, and direct or indirect managers of the designated job opening. Note: Hiring managers are exempt from participating in the program when referring candidates to positions for which they are directly or indirectly responsible; however, hiring managers are eligible when referring candidates for a position that is in another department, office, or function. 3. POLICY • What is an employee referral bonus? − Stormtech will issue a financial reward to every successful referrer. If associates know someone who would be a great fit for an open position, they are encouraged to refer the candidate. If Stormtech hires the referred candidate and the candidate successfully completes their probationary period, the referring associate will be eligible for a $300.00 referral bonus. From time to time, the referral bonus may be higher for a hard-to-fill-role. • When is the Referral Bonus issued? − Referral bonus will be issued on the next scheduled pay date after your referral completes three months of employment. • Who can be referred? − Any external referred candidates qualify. − Candidates who previously worked at Stormtech must not have been working for Stormtech for at least one year. This includes regular, contract, contractor, and temporary employees. • What positions are considered for referral? − Eligible positions include any full-time and part-time permanent positions that have been posted on the Stormtech Careers Page. • Associates are encouraged to check for open positions and consider social networks and external networks as potential sources for referred candidates. • Only one referring associate will receive the bonus per referral (the first person to submit the referred candidate will be considered the referring associate). 4. PROCESS • Email your referral to Apply@stormtech.ca and include your referral’s application or your referral may apply directly and note your full name in their application as the referrer.
