PFC’s and PFAS Elimination Initiative STORMTECH has been a leader in eliminating harmful perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) from its products, reflecting our commitment to environmental and human health. Since launching our first styles in 2018 without the PFC we have transitioned to 100% PFAS eliminated waterproof and water-repellent materials by 2020, with rigorous testing to ensure compliance with our PFAS Prohibition Policy. As we advance this initiative, we remain dedicated to working closely with our suppliers to deliver safe, sustainable, and high-performance products that meet the expectations of our customers. Product Testing At STORMTECH, we are dedicated to delivering garments that embody the highest standards of quality, performance, and durability. Our comprehensive Product Quality Assurance program ensures that every product adheres to strict global regulations across North America, Europe, and beyond. We uphold our commitment to quality through rigorous testing and inspection, partnering with accredited labs like Intertek and SGS to ensure durability, safety, and compliance with global standards such as REACH, OEKO-TEX®, and California’s Proposition 65. Our products are tested to meet AATCC and ASTM standards, guaranteeing superior performance and reliability. Regular audits and AQL-based inspections at manufacturing facilities further ensure that every product meets our exacting quality and safety requirements. Product Safety STORMTECH promises to provide safe, quality products that meet customer’s health and safety expectations. All STORMTECH products imported into Canada, USA, Europe, and third-party shipments follow strict adherence to product safety laws and regulations of the jurisdictions in which they are sold. STORMTECH products are in compliance with the Canadian Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA), Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), Federal Hazardous Substances Act (FHSA), California’s Proposition 65, Restricted Substance List (RSL), The European Union’s General Product Safety Directive.

Sustainable Packaging STORMTECH is committed to the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) of sustainable sourcing of wood-based fibers, cellulosic fabrics, and paper products in a way that addresses the major environmental impacts associated with deforestation and forests degradation. Since Spring 2022 all products are packaged with sustainable materials including Oxo-biodegradable bags and FSC® certified cartons. All hang tags and packaging materials are also produced using recycled biodegradable inputs.
