5. REVIEW AND INVESTIGATION •
Reports will be reviewed within five (5) business days of receipt. • Investigations will be carried out fairly, objectively, and in a timely manner. • Where the reporter is known, acknowledgment of receipts and periodic updates will be provided. • Investigations may result in disciplinary action, procedural changes, or reporting to legal authorities as required.
6. ROLES AND Responsibilities
Compliance Officer: Oversees the whistleblowing process, ensures impartiality of investigations, maintains records, and escalates serious matters to leadership or legal counsel as needed.
Managers: Responsible for creating an environment that promotes open dialogue and supports ethical behavior
Associates: Employees of Stormtech (unless otherwise specified). Responsible for reporting concerns in good faith and cooperating with any related investigation.
7. NON-RETALIATION
Stormtech strictly prohibits retaliation against any individual who, in good faith, reports a concern or participates in an investigation. Retaliation includes any adverse treatment such as dismissal, demotion, discrimination, or harassment because of reporting a concern in good faith. Any acts of retaliation will be investigated and may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
8. POLICY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT All Associates are required to review and acknowledge this policy upon onboarding and periodically thereafter.
